Love Letters: The Haunted Painting of Samantha Houston

In 1887, while staying at the Driskell Hotel with her family, 4 year old girl, Samanta Houston fell to her death down the hotel’s staircase. She broke her neck and died instantly.

Before Samantha Houston’s burial, her father contacted an artist to paint a portrait of his deceased daughter. Get this, he used Samantha’s corpse as the model!!

As you could imagine, some say they experience some very intense paranormal happenings whilst in the presence of this painting.
