Clinton Ave refers to the location where most of the young men resided. The trail went cold for nearly 40 years. There was eventually a confession, a conviction, and an acquittal. This is a wild one.

Episode 49 - Kris Kremers and Lisanne Froon

Episode 49: The death of Kris Kremers and Lisanne Froon. In April of 2014, two Dutch women, Kris Kremers and Lisanne Froon left for a roughly month stay in Panama. They were there to teach at one of the local schools. During their stay, they took a hike on a Panamanian jungle trail, and never returned. Their bodies were found a few months later. There were very little clues as to what happened. However, their camera was found with over 100 pics taken a week after their disappearance. Tragic accident or something more sinister?

Episode 48 - Eilean Mor Lighthouse Disappearances

Episode 48: Eilean Mor Lighthouse disappearances. In December of 1900, 3 lighthouse keepers vanished off of Eilean Mor island, part of the Flannan Ilses. Their log book revealed that they were in the midst of a horrible storm. The insane thing here was that there was no storm reported in the area during this time frame. What really happened? There was no evidence of foul play. The investigation provided only more questions than answers. 120yrs later, this mystery is still unsolved.

Episode 47 - Elisa Lam

In 2013, 21yr old Elisa was reported missing for over one month. She had been staying at the infamous Cecil Hotel at the time of her disappearance. Unfortunately, her body was later found in one of the rooftop water tanks. What makes this case all the more unnerving, there was video surveillance of Elisa in an elevator acting very bizarre. So many questions remain unanswered regarding this one!

Episode 46 - Lost Boy Larry

Special patron episode re-release. Tonight we discuss an interesting little mystery from the early 1970s. In 1973, just outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico, CB operators began picking up transmissions of a child in distress. More specifically, the boy, identified only as "Larry" claimed to have been in and automobile accident. An accident which left his dad dead. Larry claimed to be trapped inside the vehicle. The only thing was, no one could locate the truck, or Larry. He would only give very vague answers to the search and rescue crew. So the question then becomes, is this a hoax or a tragedy? This is a weird one!

Episode 40 - Blanche Monnier

For the first time in BTC history, we're headed back to the 19th Century! This week we travel to Poitiers, France to discuss the absolutely tragic and unnerving case of Blanche Monnier. Blanche was a 25yr old socialite who seemed to have it all. That was until her mother disapproved of the older gentleman whom Blanche was dating. Blanche's mother gave her an ultimatum, end the relationship or else! Blanche chose the "or else!' It was at that point Blanche's life changed forever. Her mother proceeded to lock Blanche in the attic and throw away the key for two and a half decades. That's right, she locked Blanche away for nearly 25yrs. You will not believe this cruel and horrifying true story.
