In March of 1998, 23yr old, Amy Lynn Bradley went missing while on a Royal Caribbean cruise. After a night out at a cruise ship club, Amy returned to her room that she shared with her family. At 5:30am, her father, Ron, saw Amy on the balcony. A mere half hour later, when he checked for her again, she was gone. That is the last time Amy was ever seen! There is no shortage of theories as to what may have happened to Amy.

In 1950, a man, dressed in clothing of a previous century, seemingly appeared out of nowhere. Right in the middle of Times Square, NYC. The commotion that this caused was unmatched. The Mannequin House

Episode 78: The John Lawson House. We’re finally back at it! This week Chris and I are staying local! We’re taking the metro north down to New Hamburg, NY to investigate the bizarre inhabitants of the “John Lawson House.” It seems, between the years 2006-2016, someone or “something” has been placing mannequins all around the property. The positions and clothing of the mannequins have changed, daily. The odd thing here…..NO ONE was ever spotted moving the wooden creeps on the property! They seemed to be moving on their own. Things only get more strange as we dive into the creepy history o’ the John Lawson House. This should be a fun one!

Daniel LaPlante

We open up the new year with, by far, the creepiest case we’ve ever covered. We’re headed back to 1986 to discuss the freak known as Danny LaPlante. 16yr old Danny became obsessed with teenager, Annie Andrews. So much so, that he broke in and began hiding within the walls of her family home and stayed there for months! He continued psychologically terrorizing the family in unimaginable ways! Things reached a climax when Danny tried luring Annie upstairs. He was found dressed in Annie’s mother’s, the deceased Mrs. Andrews’, wedding gown. His ugly ass face covered in make up whilst yielding a hatchet in his grubby little hands. Things only go from bad to worse after that! This shit sounds like a low budget horror film but believe me, it is all real. Join us next week as we discuss Daniel LaPlante.

Colton Harris Moore

Our last episode of 2021 and we’re going out with a bang! Next week we’re discussing Colton Harris Moore aka “The Barefoot Bandit.” As a troubled teenager, Colton became a fugitive who lead authorities on a chase that lasted nearly 2yrs. Not only that, his time on the run lead him all around the US and eventually to the Bahamas. You may ask, how does a kid manage to lead police on a chase across the country? Well, having never flown before, he did what we’d all do…he stole a couple of planes. The story only gets crazier from there. Join us as we discuss the one and only, Barefoot Bandit.

Liz Carmichael & The Dale

During the 1970s energy crisis, Carmichael promoted a prototype for a low-cost fuel-efficient car via Twentieth Century Motor Car Corporation. The only problem? The prototype, unbeknownst to the investors, was propped up with 2x4s, door hinges to keep the doors in place, as well as having a detached accelerator. When authorities went to check the “factory” everything was completely gone. Ole Carmichael fled with investor money. Approximately $2/3 million dollars. She was captured in 1989, and served 18 months on fraud charges. She was also hiding some other interesting secrets. Join us as we take a ride down memory lane.

The Mad Trapper of Rat River

On July 9, 1931 Albert Johnson came paddling down the Peel River in the small trapping town of Fort McPherson, Canada. He was a mysterious outsider that arrived with thousands of dollars in hand. He used that money to buy the necessary items to begin trapping. The natives were none too pleased about this. This was only the beginning of trouble for the people of Fort McPherson. Johnson went on to become a fugitive. Responsible for the largest manhunt in Canadian history. From there, it only gets crazier from there! Ken Rex McElroy

Ken Rex McElroy was best known for being the town bully of Skidmore, Missouri. Throughout the years, Ken was accused of arson, assault, animal cruelty, statutory rape, and burglary, amongst others crimes. The problem was that McElroy intimidated the citizens of Skidmore so much that they often refused to follow through as witnesses for the prosecution due to the wrath of retribution they might face from ole Ken! However, that all changed on the morning of July 10, 1981. That’s when the townspeople took matters into their own hands….or did they?! It seems that on that fateful morning McElroy was shot in the head at close range with upwards of 60 eyewitnesses nearby. Yet no one saw a thing! Was this an act vigilantism or a simple accident?!! We may never know.
